Comme Des Garcons Homme Plus FW11 “Decadence” Reconstructed Patchwork Silk Button Up. Rei Kawakubo’s FW11 runway for men was a cultural nightmare criss-crossing and connecting references to points there should be no business of having a connection to. Each model wore a crudely placed wig on top, everything below was a Pollock of Chinese patterned silks, English mad hatter silhouettes, Japanese hakamas, Vegas prints. That being said, despite the lack of any real definable signifier to process there seems to be a gravitating harmony in Rei’s pursuit to find beauty in the ugly which she triumphs time and time again.

Tees and button ups from this collection were reconstructed from vintage tees and silk scarves and button ups respectively. Each item is unique including its flaws, quality of silk, graphics and print.

8.5/10 condition, some flaws at the bottom right panel. Sz S, fits long, fits slim S-M.

    SS16 Half Sleeve Flannel by Undercover for their "Greatest" Collection which revisits old UC collections. This flannel is light, unlined, half sleeved with fringe/distress details on all hems. Two chest pockets, button up placket with gingham plaid. Shoulder/pit area is deconstructed and sewn back together with crude contrast stitching. Asymmetrical Bottom Hem. This, as with many UC pieces, is inspired by and borrow elements from music, mostly punk and post rock. "THIS IS THE WAY STEP INSIDE" are lyrics from Joy Division's 1980 Closer album; "Atrocity Exhibition" Condition 9/10. Sz 3 fits loose M.

This is the 20th season for Raf Simons and he initially sought to pay a tribute to his revered past collections but he and his team simply didn't feel that it was "relevant" to do anything old, instead opted to keep doing something new. This however was an homage to his influences Helmut Lang and Maison Margiela. Fits a little big, material is thin but not transparent as picture suggests (we're getting to fix the lighting issues), soft. High quality silk print on bank with "RS" signature logo patch sewn on back. 9/10 Condition. Sz S (Fits a little bigger)
