This is the Classic "GAT" or German Army Trainer modeled after the trainers used by the German Army in the mid 20th century. The only difference is that the entire pair is completely "drenched" in blue velvet, the upper, shoelaces, sole etc making it an eye catching pair of shoes. A classic example of margiela playing with an object's fundamental nature and molding it into something unusual and striking. 9.5/10 condition. Size 41.

The only piece of the "replica"(outside of parfumes) line that doesn't follow its biyearly trend, the GAT is a staple of Margiela's footwear.
